There are good opportunities for fishing in most rivers and lakes in Gudbrandsdal.

Free for children under 16 years.

Fishing permits are available at the local gasstation, at tourist offices, sports shops, post offices and hotels. In some lakes an otter board is allowed. Ice fishing in the winter is also possible : cute a hole and go fishing.
